About us:

This magazine is based on an idea from our web designer Torodd Fuglesteg, who in 1996 unleashed a 24 page paper magazine with the same name.
News From The Infested Graveyard web magazine was launched 1. February 1998.
N.F.T.I.G. Plc. was established as a publishing company 1. July 1998 and it took over a the publisher of this magazine from the same date.
Due to change of personal circumstances (closure of businesses, new jobs and marriages) and dissatisfaction with the development of the magazine; we choose to close down the magazine in mid-November '99.
But the friendship and creative links between the members of the editorial staff was too strong to be broken. We met up again in August '00 for a series of meetings and decided to re-launch the magazine again with a slightly new profile. This magazine is too alive to be dead. We cannot promise that we will continue to eternity, but we can promise that we will run it in leaps and bounds for the foreseeable future.

This magazine was bought by Inferno Music in January 2001. No changes whatsoever has been planned by the new owners.

NFTIG are an independent atheist, non- political & anti- trend web magazine.

But we accept that very few people in the music scene share our views. We therefor include bands, labels and magazines with all kind of political and religious views. You might therefore find some of the features in this magazine very provoking. So do we. We are very much against all kinds of censorship and we do not censor any bands or opinion.
When it comes to music; we will write about music we find interesting or we feel deserve to be promoted. That does not necessary mean that we are dedicated to all bands we interview or write about. We are more interested in creating a good and mind challenging music magazine than just write about extreme and ultra- brutal metal. We put down a lot of time in this magazine and we therefore do what we want to do with this magazine.

We have no connections to existing companies, record labels, distributors or bands. When we recommend a band, record- label and/or a release; it is only because of it's musical qualities.
We are only running this magazine because we love and believe in this magazine. This magazine is a long term project.

The magazine are under development and a lot of new features and services will be added in the next months and years. Keep yourself updated.

If you like the magazine and think we have a future; please spread the word and support us with an e- mail. We would be most grateful for your opinion. Please support us with promo CDs and newsletters if you run a label/band/distro.

Please place links from your web- sites to this web- site. We are more than happy to return the favour.

This magazine is (roughly) updated every Sunday night or when we have anything news to add.

Enjoy the magazine.
